Big Update on RMF’s Ragdoll Physics Experiments

Hey everyone,

I’ve just posted a new video with a pretty major update on the direction of RMF’s Ragdoll Physics Experiments.

It covers where the game is heading, what’s changing, why we’ve made that decision, and what it means for things like the demo, release plans, and the next steps from here.

This game relies too much on dynamic lighting

Low preset players have areas nearly fullbright where they shouldn't be (the running mannequin sequence has it mostly dark, whereas it has a completly different vibe to it on Medium/Low), while any preset with Lumen/dynamic lighting absolutely tanks the performance. The particle system present in that running mannequin sequence is also tanking FPS regardless of the preset. Screenspace reflections are way too noticeable when everything is reflective, especially that dark ceiling above you is a dead giveaw...

And especially for this Next Fest we have unlocked the Facial Calibration Chamber. It's a completely pointless but fun feature that will be in the full game.

I'm in for it! I loved the humour, I loved the cheeky dialogue and I even manipulated time to see what was behind those time sensitive doors! I had a lot of fun. Gameplay was smooth, the controls were intuitive. I have wishlisted the game and will be keeping an eye out for its release. Thank you....

HELP ME!!!

Ok. i've seen the game on youtube and me and my friends lOVED IT but now im trying to play the demo on steam but everytime i click play it will load for a little and then fatally crash so i would delete iit and redownload still the same thing and just watching people play the demo makes me ANGY so yeah PLEASE HELP!!...

Stanley Parable Vibes!!

Don't know if anyone else picked up on this but I get massive stanley vibes from this. That is one of my most favourate games of all time. Would be very interesting to see a really solid fresh take on that. It suggests like that the full game will have more discusion stuff. I really hope it does. Wsihlisted and following...
