I really wanted to like the game since I enjoyed the first one a lot, but I'm just not having fun.

The evaluation criteria for the achievements at the end of each level are so strict that it was extremely rare for me to get any, which really takes away the joy of completing them.
They have new mechanics and ideas, which is great in theory, but I found none of them to be very intuitive and had to resort to looking up what you are supposed to do several times.

The cute graphics, nice music and smart writing are all there, but I'm just getting annoyed and frustrated instead of enjoying my time.

If you love physics, digging deep into puzzles and hunting perfection, this might be a good game for you, but if you're looking for the relaxing time you had with the first one, you might end up disappointed.

the level editor is super buggy and desperately needs fixing

i was super hyped when they added the editor to the game a couple days ago. so many new possibilities! however, i ran into a couple major issues during my 40 minutes of experimenting... first off, the entire game crashes (had this happen 4 times) for seemingly no reason. then, whenever you get back into the game, you can only choose to play or delete the level that you just made. all other options are greyed out. why? is there something else you need to do? i beat the level in case there was some sort of c...

World of Goo 2 Developer Level Editor Now Available in Steam Workshop!

We've decided to release our in-house editor via Steam Workshop!

We built the editor just for us, and did not originally plan to share it. It's unpolished, unsupported, and gloriously unbeautiful - but it built all the levels in World of Goo 2 - and now it's publicly available for brave players to build and share their own levels.

How do you get the level editor? Just update your game and look for a new button on the main screen. It's available right now on all Win/Mac/Linux platforms.

Game crashes after last update/patch

Game was working fine since premiere, but after last update/patch i can't play it anymore. Crash: G:\windows-steam-release\external\bgfx\bgfx\src\renderd3d11.cpp:4259: 1 Failed to create compute shader. I would expect the game to improve - not add more critical bugs and make impossible to play....

Black screen on one of my Linux PCs

Playing on Linux and on one of my PCs the game only outputs a black screen. I can hear the title music, but that's it. They're mostly the same setup, one difference is one has Nvidia GPU (the one with the black screen issue) and the other Intel integrated graphics. Good game though :)...
