This is an invite-only playtest, with priority going to:

This is still a pre-alpha build, so expect rough edges and know that your feedback is everything. We want to hear what vibes, what doesn’t, and what you want more of!

🎸 New Boss Fight: Hemlock

Take on the powerhouse bassist in a brand-new boss encounter. Some visuals are still placeholder but gameplay is ripe for early feedback.

🌌 New Story Level: Arora

Enter the planetarium, a shimmering new domain ruled by one of our celestial Idols.

💃 Infinite Disco Upgrades

Custom Playlists – Pick your music, set your flow.
Arena Swapping – Change the environment mid-run and keep the groove fresh.
New Arenas – More variety. More vibes.

I don't get this game from the demo

It's just mash buttons to beat up random NPCs? I did not see any sort of challenge, or difficulty, or story, or anything? Just boring as ♥♥♥♥. Maybe the demo is bad, but I just don't see a game here.

Listen up, developers! It is I, Starscream, first of the Seekers, rhythm god, and legendary Steam curator! After 12 hours of burning through the demo like I was dodging missiles from Skywarp himself, I must inform you of a critical truth: I require more. Not next month. Not next year. Now. This is not a request, it is a DEMAND! This game has ensnared my energon-fueled circuits in a way no title has since Transformers: Devastation. I have replayed Maniac so many times my exhaust vents...

Only on-beat button presses should do damage, stop encouraging button mashing

There is nothing stopping you from button mashing and winning. If you wanted to incentivize people actually pressing buttons on-beat then they should ONLY do damage when pressed on-beat. The game already knows the BPM of the songs I put, and I can "calibrate" them, there's no excuse (other than poor programming) for not having it work on timed pressed. If you could just button mash through Crypt of the Necrodancer then what would be the point of the game? SAME thing here. If you can just button mash thro...
