Development update 2# - 0.6 content

Hello farmers! It's been a while, and I wanted to update you on how the development of the upcoming Sloppy Fields content is going. 0.6 is most likely going to come out at the end of january/february, I wanted to release the update at early january but unfortunately there’s been some unplanned work I needed to do that took me a lot of time. Anyway, here’s a preview on what you’ll be able to find 0.6!

New breeding species: hogs!

Meet our first muscle mommy: Roxie! Also start breeding hogs in the two new biomes! While Roxie's tough and strong in the surface, she hides a cute and soft side, will you be able to uncover it?

Reworked affection system and lowres sex scenes!

After unlocking a Matron’s second lewd scene, a new system that measures how much she misses you will start working. Depending on how much time has passed since the last time she got some attention, she won’t wait for you anymore and will visit you during the night. 6 new pixel scenes are coming along with this feature, one for each matron. More scenes and variations will come in future updates

(The house has been expanded and made prettier as well.)

Livestock room expansions!

Now livestock rooms start out in a messy state and you can gradually upgrade them while generating more revenue in the process. I think seeing the environment change with time, will definitely make it more satistying to progress through the game. Some album photographies are also planned to be given as a reward at certain upgrade thresholds.

Reworked Milk and Love potions!

Abuse of a consumable item and you will start feeling the side-effects of it. Too much milk will make you sick, and too many love potions will give you erectile dysfunction. You can wait for these effects to pass on their own by waiting some time… or discuss with the merchants for a quicker “solution”. (Curing the sickness will also grant a temporary buff based on the item.)

Better cutscenes and dialogues

Dialogue system and cutscenes have been enhanced with a couple of more effects and sounds

General QOL changes (stack selling crops, passive crop stacking, and more)

Sloppy Fields - Update 0.5.2 release

Hello Farmers! Sloppy Fields 0.5.2 is here. Here's a list of the changes that this new update brings.

Added the photography album; you will be able to access it from the bedroom.

Currently, it features 3 photographs per matron, obtainable after massaging/getting intimate with them a bunch of times. More photographs will come with each update, along with more ways to gain them both passively and actively.

Added a selling mechanic. After upgrading Charlie's farming buffs completely, you will unlock the possibility to sell crops.
After many people requested it, you can now trigger two scenes with Charlie: upgrade the farming skills enough to trigger them.
You can now trigger a milking scene with Clara. Make sure to pay a visit to her on Fridays and buy some milk from her.

Smaller changes:

Changed the map sprites so each zone is more recognizable
The Crossroad now has a different map button depending on whether a merchant is present or not, so you don't need to check manually each time
Added more dialogues to each matron
You can now move with the arrow keys
You can now navigate through the map with WASD for a proper one-handed experience
Fixed the boxes in dialogues
Fixed an issue with the gathering sounds not getting updated and being too loud
Fixed all square / font problems

That's it for now!

There isn't much new content in the game besides the new scenes, so if you have already completed the game at 100% it may look a bit lackluster. I'm sorry.

I've been starting to involve a new artist and a new programmer on board to give me a hand with various things, so I'm confident that from 0.6, which is planned to be released around the end of December/early January, the update frequency and density will be much more consistent.

Update notes for patch 0.5.1.2

- The new game button now has to be held to confirm a new save if an existing one already exists; this prevents players from accidentally deleting their save.
- You can now hold the buy button on upgrades, and the purchase speed gets faster the longer you hold down.
- Food reserve positions have been slightly adjusted and are now consistent in each room; additionally, the food percentage appears below them.
- Food reserves now respawn once getting back into the game, without needing the player to go manually into each livestock room.
- Fixed an issue with the input indicators not appearing on Vixen and Juno.
- Fixed Charlie's input indicators, which now properly show the S input on the right.
- Fixed a couple of dialogues showing the wrong character talking.
- Fixed an issue with consumable items going into negatives.
- Fixed an issue with the strawberry prompt button showing the wrong button.
- Fixed an issue with the livestock upgrade not activating
