I am having issues with games (Wreckfest) detecting my wireless xbox one controller when streaming to my laptop. It recognizes the controller on both the host and client machines in big picture mode
but doesn't show input when I play the game. What's strange is that when I stream through the steam link app on my android phone (with the controller connected to the phone) the game picks up my

steam link controller and 0 input. Unplugged the wired controller to the source PC, still 0 input.

Used the wired controller on the steam link itself? same issue. I've checked the settings and input

I can change the configurations in game.

But the buttons that have been assigned new keys DO NOT work.
When I display the Controller Input Display It just shows a blank key after I remap the button
client and steam link, factory reset the steam link. Nothing has changed and I'm still having issues.

This does work on the pc client.

Ok, so I am not the only one having issues with the double input, double controller settings. I tried resetting the steam link and messing with some settings but it didn't work. Here's hoping it

I have this exact issue on my galaxy note 9 with an xbox one s bluetooth controller.

I also have an nvidia shield and the same controllers input only works after a fresh reboot of the host PC
. Otherwise, I have zero controller input unless I open the keyboard on the shield and us RS to move the mouse cursor.

I am assuming that the issues are related. Any word on a fix or a workaround besides
