Same issue here, audio stuttering while controller input is occurring. I will try wired tonight to see if that's any better (though this wont be a long term solution). My set up is as follows:

side bad mapping is a massive oversight by Valve. As it makes this small isssue of bad client side controller layout mapping a game breaking issue.

Am glad Valve devs are making such a regal mess of
this as it proves Steam Users NEED a proper define layout and save as supported controller type ui on host pc to workaround these client side issues.
