Lone Pine Demo Out Now

Lone Pine is officially open to the public with the launch of its demo here on Steam, inviting players to explore the fictional national park, take photographs of mythical creatures, and prove their existence.

Thank you to everyone who has supported us in getting to this milestone, and we can’t wait to show you the full release late this year.

I really like what you have made and I love the feel of the game, but as a mouse/keyboard user I have a few thoughts: - Option to use mouse wheel, mouse2 or mouse3 to open/close inventory and journal - Replace keybinding "Enter" to "Space" or something closer to "WASD" to save hand movement. - Or implement a simple rebind option for actions. I never understood why this has been standard in all genres except adventure games. Looking forward to the game and hope I don't need to get a controller just to pla...

Lone Pine Demo

We're excited to announce that our demo will be coming to Steam at the end of the month. It will release on March 24, 8am PT (March 25 in Australia at 1am AEST). In the demo, players can experience the first section of the game and all its core gameplay mechanics. The gameplay features a mix of classic point-and-click exploration, with full controller support, combined with modern interactive puzzles.

We hope the demo gives players a sense of Lone Pine's story, gameplay, and atmosphere. Keep an eye for the many secrets and hidden interactions throughout. 👀

First of all, I loved the atmosphere, the writing, the art, and the story so far. I'm definitely hooked. The approaching storm was particularly nice. I did run into a couple of possible bugs. Immediately after leaving the cable car, there was a tutorial tab in the upper right with several items about picking up a rock... I never saw any rock to pick up, and those tutorial items disappeared after I entered the ranger cabin. I double-clicked the berries in my inventory before I was at the spot where they c...

Visual bug (?) and Feedback

Love the game style so far. Just wanetd to mention that the game kept flicking between showing controller buttons and keyboard input (I was using conroller). It sort of flashed between the two so may be wise to fix it? Also adding a sprint would be awesome to make traversing faster and maybe hint system on what to do encase people get suck? Can't wait to see full game....

speech sound

Would it be possible to make sound somewhat louder, especially speech? I have it on maximum level and still had to turn on the speakers to hear it. Especially when there are other sounds like storm and such.
