🔸 The story will be told from the perspective of two characters: Lena and Ian. We won't be able to choose one and play through the entire game that way. We'll switch between them every few scenes. Therefore, we have to build their lives in parallel and it will depend only on you what their relationship will be like. Essentially, this is a life simulator without any supernatural twists you might find in other games. These are ordinary people and their ordinary lives, which include love, quarrels, reconciliations, and various entertainments. Including adult ones. Primarily adult ones) We just need to nudge them in certain directions. We'll also meet a large number of different secondary characters, and thanks to this, the game offers multiple storylines, making it as realistic and engaging as possible. However, there's a small drawback in it. Because of this, the game can't be fully explored in one or even two playthroughs. Furthermore, due to the many side branches, the story's final conclusion remains unknown.

🔸 A life simulator visual novel with a huge number of choices that influence relationships with characters, adult scenes, and the overall plot development. In the future, I'm sure there will be different endings depending on your choices and stats. Now, let's get into more detail. The game has 4 basic attributes: Wits, Charisma, Athletics, Lust. And 2 additional ones: Money and Will. In dialogues, an icon representing a specific attribute will be displayed next to the selection options, and will increase or decrease it when selected. Also, in the future, some options may become unavailable due to a lack of points for one or another attribute. So choose carefully so you don't miss scenes with the characters you find most interesting. Luckily, if you don't want to think about it, you can choose one of three modes right from the start of the game: Easy, with all stats initially boosted; Standard; and Cheat, with all stats maxed out.
🔸 REPLAYABILITY - Since the game has a lot of story routes and choices that affect them, to see all the content in the game, you will have to replay it several times. But given the length and lack of completion, I would recommend playing through the game however you like and only unlocking the scenes that appeal to you.

🔸 ART - The drawing style is stunning, both for the characters and the backgrounds. The detailed objects and the large number of characters and locations, as well as the additional objects (the phone and everything in it), look vibrant and appealing. The characters are all distinct not only in personality but also in appearance. Each one is unique in their own way. Although some of the female and male characters have a bit similar body shapes, I wouldn't call this a drawback.
🔸 ANIMATIONS - The game features simple animations, but not in every scene, only in the newer episodes. Otherwise, it's more like a frame-by-frame transition, merely simulating animation.

🔸 The game has 14 episodes at the moment and a huge number of scenes (around 270 at the moment), despite the fact that the game is not yet finished. These include not only full-fledged sex scenes, but also simply sexy or explicit photos, so keep that in mind. The scenes look incredibly hot and exciting thanks to the graphics. And because of the carefully written plot and dialogue, they also seem realistic. The most important aspect here is the wide variety of fetishes, from vanilla scenes to group sex and BDSM. So, everyone will find something to their liking. However, you should be aware that if you eliminate many of them (for example, NTR, cuckolding, and so on), the number of scenes will be significantly reduced, as the game places a strong emphasis on these.
🔸 GALLERY - You can find it in main menu and also choose to display all, a specific character or a chapter scenes.

🔸 MUSIC - For the most part, the game features calm background music, occasionally changing to more energetic one in certain scenes. Combined with additional sounds for almost every action and click on any object (menu, for example), it significantly improves the atmosphere during the game.
🔸 VOICE - No voice acting but there are many additional sounds in game and moans during a lot of sex scenes.

🔸 ACHIEVEMENTS - no achievements.
🔸 TRADING CARDS - no cards.

In terms of the number of scenes and plot twists, this is one of the best novels you can find. Combined with the vibrant and beautiful visuals, the game can be considered practically perfect at this point. The only areas that could be improved are bringing the game to at least one ending as soon as possible and perhaps improving the animations. I definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys adult visual novels in a life simulator theme.

After the success of the previous project “Good Girl Gone Bad”, Eva Kiss took on a new one, using the same familiar story structure: simulation of a hero's everyday life. It seems like there are plenty of similar games available. However, while most AVN games have a clichéd story with college setting where the protagonist wants to ♥♥♥♥ every woman stranger he meets, or a story about a prodigal son (it means another male protagonist) returning to his homeland and embarking on a series of adventures… or the story of how a girl tries to survive by any (sexual) means and she simply has no other way, “Our Red String” captivates you with its dual protagonist system: you play as both Ian and Lena. Moreover, the game's dramatic opening sets the tone for the entire narrative, emphasizing that it is not about degradation, simple and outright perversion, or lust, but rather about emotions, empathy, and consistent growth.


The GAMEPLAY revolves around selecting dialogue options, each of which either affects the development of certain characteristics (abilities) and the personalities of protagonists, or influences your interactions with other characters. This is all you need from this AVN. There are a few mini-games that add a touch of variety to the narrative, enhancing certain scenes and making them more engaging. The characteristic system has undergone changes since the days of GGGB, introducing more aspects and, consequently, more variability in choices, which affects both the overall story and the characters' behavior and even their appearance.

There are plenty of characters in this game what makes the “Our Red String” world alive and vibrant. Each NPC has its own unique personality, making some characters likable, others irritating, and another ones evoking anger and hatred. Your willingness or unwillingness to interact with them determines the path the main characters' story takes. Personally, I found all the characters appealing.



Based on the above, it's easy to draw the obvious conclusion - The uniqueness of this game lies in the fact that Eva Kiss takes into account all your choices, despite her narrative efforts to make player to bring Ian and Lena’s hearts together: you can make it so that Ian is not a couple with Lena, and she can go right and left without imposing any obligations or restrictions. As a result, the characters' internal monologues can change, providing you with the psychological portrait that you have created through your choices. For this, I would like to express my special gratitude to Eva Kiss! In my opinion, no other author has been able to implement this feature as competently or meticulously. Brilliant work!!!



Each SOUNDTARCK in this game perfectly complements the scene where it is used. Even in each location, you will hear authentic music: for a typical day at home, it is calm and measured, while in a bar, we hear rock, and in a club, we have the freedom to choose the appropriate track. Considering that Eva Kiss requested certain musicians to create individual tracks for the game, it can be argued that the musical accompaniment in “Our Red String” is not just for show! The music reflects the mood of each scene and the emotions that the characters experience, which is equally important for the overall experience of the game. It is a pity that many authors tend to overlook the importance of sound.


As for the ART, the characters on the screen may initially appear cartoonish. However, when it comes to the heart of the game, the NSFW scenes, you will see that THE ART IS TRULY MASTERPIECE. The curves of the bodies, the shadows, face expressions, and the poses… all of it is truly captivating.

I must say that Eva Kiss has done an exceptional job - I take off my hat for her hard work! Each scene contains multiple artworks (and they may vary slightly depending on the choices you’ve made previously), and with the addition of well-written, uncluttered text, you'll experience a wide range of emotions!



CONCLUSION: Eva Kiss is a unique and unparalleled developer who has brought two games to the world in different visual styles, with different stories, but with the same approach – she developed them with a soul and love for her work. Both games are remarkable for their text and fetishes (although there are not so much fetishes in “Our Red String”, they are all executed flawlessly). And each of the them will captivate you so much that you will literally spend days and nights playing them, and you will not be able to sleep peacefully at night (I have experienced this firsthand... like for real) while waiting for new updates for “Our Red String” specifically. All I can do is envy those who, in the future, will have just learned about and will have completed this game from start to finish. And also I wish Eva Kiss patience, perseverance, even more inner fire, and new creative ideas! Eva, I love you! And congratulations with Steam release!




I'm praising this game so much that you might get the impression that “Our Red String” is an ideal game. I haven't found any significant flaws in it, and the updates are consistently released. Eva Kiss’s continuous efforts have truly made this game her brainchild. While it's unfortunate that not all of her ideas can be fully realized, some have to be sacrificed for the sake of a logical and coherent narrative or for the sake of an update that has been long-awaited. Additionally, we should consider author's personal touch of the story vision. But despite all of this, I consider this game to be a true gem!
