The official live broadcast before the release of Nioh 3 is scheduled for Tuesday, February 3rd at 9:00pm JST.

This livestream will feature the popular Japanese streamer Otsuichi as a special guest. Shohei Taguchi will serve as the MC, and alongside the game's General Producer Fumihiko Yasuda and Producer Kohei Shibata, the stream will showcase the exciting features of Nioh 3 through gameplay. Furthermore, some brand-new information will be revealed for the first time during this broadcast. Be sure to watch until the very end!

Nioh 3 demo Ver. 1.02.01 Update

Adjustments:

• Increased the effect values of the special effects Ki Recovery Speed and Ki Recovery Speed (Unscathed).

• Made changes so that praying at shrines will automatically restock consumable items other than projectiles and Elixirs from the storehouse.

Bug fixes:

• Fixed an issue in Character Creation where certain actions resulted in incorrect menu transitions and sometimes caused the game to crash.

• Fixed an issue causing the Samurai Skill Running Water to randomly disappear. (Note: Applying Update Ver. 1.02.01 will restore this Samurai Skill.)

• Fixed an issue preventing the Samurai Skill Running Water from activating properly under certain conditions.

• Fixed an issue occurring after turning on Style Shift & Burst Break Separation under Controls, in which performing Burst Break just after the Ninjutsu Pheasant Leap would trigger a Style Shift instead.

• Fixed an issue allowing the player to quickly cancel Style Shift with a Ninjutsu or jump when the player had their Tonfa drawn in Ninja Style.

• Fixed an issue preventing the player from performing a Grapple while fighting bare-handed in Ninja Style.

• Fixed an issue affecting the special effect Max Ninjutsu Stock where the player would lose their increased stock of Ninjutsu after performing Style Shift.

• Fixed an issue allowing the player to access areas they should not have access to.

• Fixed an issue causing status ailments inflicted on enemies to disappear at a higher rate than normal during multiplayer sessions.

• Fixed an issue that occasionally caused an error when the game ended.

• Fixed an issue that sometimes prevented the player from walking while locked on to a target if they were using the keyboard to move.

• Fixed an issue causing the game to crash when changing monitors via Monitor under Visuals.

• Fixed an issue preventing the player from setting the ranged weapon controls to the same key as Guard via Configure Controls (Keyboard/Mouse) under Controls

• Fixed an issue preventing the player from shooting arrows if they had set Dodge to R2 via Configure Controls under Controls.

• Made other minor fixes.

Cutscenes keep automatically skipping even though system requirements are met

① Go to SYSTEM > BASIC GAME SETTINGS > Skip Cutscenes and make sure it is not set to "Skip already-seen dialogue" or "On."

② Try installing the VP9 codec. Please install the VP9 codec by installing "VP9 Video Extensions" from the Microsoft Store at the website below:

How does everyone feel about Samurai/Ninja switching?

It’s definitely an original idea, but I can’t shake the feeling that, conceptually, this was meant to be a two-player game—one player as a samurai and the other as a ninja. I think I need to play more to fully appreciate it, but right now I’m on the fence. I really want to go full ninja, yet the game fundamentally pushes me to play both....
