Yeah same for me today. Might just be placebo but I don't recall messing around with the settings that much.

I can't pin down what's going on. I'm no expert, but I've spent a lot of time messing around with settings and this game is baffling me. For instance, sometimes I clear the crucible without a hitch, and then other times, my FPS tanks, not having changed any settings. I thought that maybe restarting would be the solution, but it doesn't really do anything. Nothing will have changed, no new programs open, nothing.

I also have found that leaving the settings higher actually gives me more stable framerates and lower CPU usage. Something isn't working right, and I can't pinpoint the exact setting, but I believe one of the "low" settings is actually messing up a lot of people's performance.

I really don't know what to do at this point. I've just been sticking with running everything maxed today, because if I drop it down, I get the same performance anyway, often worse. Who knows, only thing I can say for certain is I hope a day one patch helps this out, as I shouldn't be struggling this much above recommended settings.

Today it runs like ♥♥♥♥ for me. Camera stutters, fps tanking, DLSS frame gen just giving a bad experience overall. i cancelled my pre order just because it is not an enjoyable experience for me.

last night I was getting 220fps everywhere ,today 67fps. they did something to the game! running 9060xt and 9600x. this is the worst fps i have ever had ln any game.

same here wish i would have played more yesterday because right now its practically unplayable for me
