Nioh 3
Lag in Crucible Boss Room
Anyone experience lags or freezes when fight Yokai boss in Crucible? I experience intermittent 5 secs lag almost every time inside boss room, and am killed after game unfreezes.

Fighting Yokai outside of boss room is fine.

I capped it at 30 FPS, and was able to complete it.

Game ran like garbage at lowest settings with a 60 FPS cap, but on the same system, the game ran pretty okay at max settings with a 30 FPS cap.

The game just can't handle variable frame rates. The performance will tank and eventually freeze before dropping a bunch of frames, if you can't fully saturate your framerate cap.

yes i have, i had to lower my visual settings to fix it. This game uses alot of ram. which is wierd because i have 32gig. I hope the real game fixes some of these issues.

I have 32gb RAM too. What I don't understand is have gone inside boss room numerous times - surely game ought to have cached data on my computer? I believe this may have something to do with being online because when I look or run pass blue revenants, game lags for 1-2 seconds outside boss room.

I looked everywhere but cannot find how to go offline. When I first played demo, I went offline and had to manually go online from map IIRC.
Yeah that room is extra laggy for no reason. Like, it's just a room and one enemy.

Omg, I lowered visuals to Standard, Low Motion Blur and turned off HDR, and it's still lagging. What Visual settings did you lower and what's your graphics card? I have a RTX 3060.

Edit: I also turned off Bloom & VSync. What else did you turn off?
