Dig For Riches is currently in Early Access and we are actively continuing development.

Our goal is to turn the game into a larger and more replayable mining adventure with new maps, biomes and systems in the future.

This update introduces new mechanics, gameplay improvements, balance changes and many bug fixes.

A new feature has been added:

Wheelbarrow Vacuum Auto Pickup

When this upgrade is unlocked:

• Items within 5 meters will automatically be pulled in while pushing the wheelbarrow

• Items are collected gradually until the wheelbarrow inventory is full

You no longer need to pick up every item manually.

The mining system has been significantly improved.

Now:

• All ores can be broken in a single hit

• Your pickaxe level increases the money you earn

• Every ore break gives bonus rewards

• Higher pickaxe levels increase your income

This change makes mining faster, smoother and more satisfying.

A Map Selection screen has been added in preparation for future updates.

Currently 1 map is available, but new maps and biomes will be added in upcoming updates.

To make the game easier to understand for players, new visual indicators and icons were added.

These indicators help players understand when they should:

• Rest or sleep

• Use the bench press

• Pick up or use keys

Based on player feedback, dynamite felt too weak.

💥 Dynamite explosion power increased by 200%.

It now destroys a much larger area.

Starting stack amounts were increased.

Items affected:

• Energy Drink

• Dynamite

• Lamp

Starting stack increased from 2 → 4

Stack upgrades now create a much bigger impact.

Several balance adjustments were made:

• Upgrade prices updated

• Purchase costs rebalanced

• Progression improvements

Wheelbarrows no longer automatically return when the player respawns.

A new option was added to the ESC Pause Menu:

🔁 Return Wheelbarrow

This allows you to safely return the wheelbarrow to its starting location.

Added new language support:

🇯🇵 Japanese (日本語)

• Fixed some ores that could not be collected

• Fixed ores spawning inside each other

• Fixed several sound issues

• Fixed map related problems

• Fixed purchase system bugs

You can now turn screen shake on or off in the settings.

🎮 Headbob Toggle Added
A new option allows you to enable or disable headbob while moving.

🥤 Energy Drink Prices Adjusted
Energy drink prices have been rebalanced.

⭐ Sheriff Mission Refresh Fixed
The sheriff mission refresh system has been improved and should now work properly.

🛒 Trader Purchase Issue Fixed
Previously the trader could not be purchased — this issue has now been fixed.

🔊 Audio Improvements
Various sounds have been adjusted and improved.

Several bugs have been fixed to improve overall stability.
