I am disappointed, I really liked the concept of a multiplayer "wordle" game.

The issues mainly arise from a non-existent player base with bots populating every game (according to STEAMDB only 3 people are playing this game world wide).

The subpar word database includes archaic words like "blest" and names like "wanta" which ruins the game. Solving a puzzle should feel like a eureka moment, not a look it up in the OED moment. Archaic spelling often ignores modern phonetic conventions and names are even trickier because they don't follow standard linguistic patterns, making educated guesses almost impossible.

The game also regularly crashes on the HIGH quality graphics when launching a lobby.

The concept is actually good. But not much else. They did a nice yoink and twist from final sentence demo but this has issues. Not just the non existent playbase on launch day (I'm the only one on right now) I'm honestly trying to work out if, because it's foreign made then the translator is off, or the localisation just doesn't exist so they throw in words from other languages. The "wordle" mode is mostly vaguely english. But the quick anagram game is a mess of nonsense. I really wanted to enjoy this but I just can't

Final Word Royale is a strange but surprisingly fun mix between Russian roulette and a word game.

Across its two game modes, your goal is simple: guess a word from scrambled letters within a time limit — without making mistakes. Because mistakes have… consequences.

In the first mode, you have a few minutes to guess the word. Every three mistakes, a friendly-looking armed officer walks in and points a revolver at your head, giving you a one-in-six chance of getting shot and seeing a “game over” screen. With every additional set of three mistakes, your chances of survival get even worse.
If the timer runs out before you guess the word — game over as well.

This continues until, out of the 20 players who started the match, only one remains. The game is played online, but if there aren’t enough real players, bots will happily fill in the empty slots.

The second mode raises the stakes even more. This time, 40 players compete, and every mistake costs you a finger. You keep playing one-on-one matches until either you or your opponent runs out of fingers entirely. Winners wait for the rest of the duels to finish — again, until only one player remains.

Visually, the game looks decent, with a clean and intuitive interface. It’s especially well-suited for streaming or playing with friends, since everyone watching can try to help you guess the word.
While I don’t expect it to become a massive hit, Final Word Royale is a charming little game — perfect for killing an hour or two… and maybe a finger.
