Was interested until I saw AI was used while making the game. Any reason why the devs just didn't hire a musician instead? They already made the rest of the game xd

[Notice] Release Date Update: Tuning for Perfection (Jan 30 → Feb 5)

Hello, future players! This is Team Cherry Picker.

We have some important news regarding the release of <D1AL-ogue>.
We’ve made the difficult decision to push our launch date from Jan 30 to Feb 5.

We are truly sorry for the delay, but we promise this is to ensure the best possible experience for you.

📅 Why the delay?
We decided to remove all Gen AI-generated background music from the game.
Instead, we are fully replacing them with high-quality Asset Store & Royalty-Free tracks that perfectly match the game's atmosphere.

We believe you deserve an authentic auditory experience, not generated noise.
We are also using this extra time to squash some minor bugs to polish the gameplay.

📅 New Release Date: February 5th

Thank you for your patience and support. We are working hard to make sure <D1AL-ogue> is worth the wait!

Hello, Mechanics of Chroma City! This is Team Cherry Picker.

We have been carefully reading every single piece of feedback regarding the <D1AL-ogue> demo and our pre-launch details. Among them, we noticed a significant concern shared by many of you regarding the use of "Generative AI for BGM."

To get straight to the point: We have decided to completely replace all BGM in the game.

Before: Music created using Generative AI.
After: Fully replaced with high-quality tracks from Asset Stores and Royalty-Free libraries.

Why the change?
We want the "story" and "emotion" of <D1AL-ogue> to reach you with absolute sincerity. We realized that the controversy surrounding AI-generated music could hinder immersion and might prevent our game from being fully welcomed by the community.

We are committed to finding tracks that possess a "human touch"—music that perfectly captures the cold metallic vibe and the neon-soaked loneliness of Chroma City.

You will be able to experience the new soundscapes right at launch. Stay tuned!
