Update 1.0.03 – Tutorial Improvements & Fixes

We just pushed a new update to clean up a few issues and make the early experience a bit clearer.

Fixes:

Fixed tanks spawning incorrectly during the Level 5 comms sequence
Fixed overlapping enemy trucks in the Level 4 boss fight
Fixed a typo in the Level 5 ending cutscene

Improvements:

Added tutorial hint for the Settings menu (controls, camera, etc.)
Improved Precision Mode tutorial (now explains aiming with mouse or stick)
Added note that lock-on is disabled while using Precision Mode
Fixed Objective UI text spilling outside the panel

A lot of these changes came directly from player feedback. We really appreciate everyone playing, sharing suggestions, and reporting bugs.

Playing SKYBLITZ on Steam Deck - Compatibility Info

Steam Deck Compatibility

We’ve been testing SKYBLITZ on Steam Deck extensively, and we’re happy to say it’s fully playable from start to finish.

It was designed with responsive, controller-first gameplay in mind, the experience translates naturally to Steam Deck.

Here’s what you can expect if you play it with a Steam Deck:

Full controller support (no setup required)
Smooth performance across missions
UI and HUD readable on the Deck screen
Virtual keyboard support where needed
Steam Cloud saves work seamlessly between PC and Steam Deck

We’ve personally tested the game on Steam Deck throughout development and after release, including recent updates, to make sure everything works as expected.

While SKYBLITZ is not yet officially Steam Deck Verified, it is fully playable right now on the device.

If you run into anything unexpected, please let us know! Feedback always helps us improve things further.
