Don't like the team you are on? Vote reset.
Bad starting position? Vote reset.
High skill player late-joins the opposing team? Vote reset.
Do a risky all-in base rush at start and fail? Vote reset.
Too many went gorge? Vote reset.
Don't like the commander? Vote reset.
Don't want a vote reset? Spam "Add comm bots to game" vote to block vote reset.
Vote reset fails? Surrender ASAP to avoid losing as much ELO.
Legitimately lost a game? Find a scapegoat and don't stop blaming them to hide your own failures.
you can almost tell when a game is virtually at a loss. Especially with map control. If you are concerned about this then most def dont play dota 2 or league. the surrendering there is horrendous.
As long as the voice chat vitriol is kept to a minimum (via prolific muting, in most cases), fighting like hell on a losing team is some of the most fun you can have in this game as long as your teammates aren't giving up and throwing. Only then can you demonstrate skill, as it takes far less to win with a winning team.
Elo-chasing is a bad goal. Having fun and doing your best is the real goal.
Oh yes. I've noticed it in other games as well, that the younger generation of people is restarting their lives more than fighting back.
You should never surrender with 2 hives. And this happens all the time.
