Hello there! Younger gamer here who's just wondering what made this game blow up at the time? Not trying to diss this title in any way, I'm just wondering why older players found it so enticing at the time versus something like "Killing Floor". I am very interested in game history and from hearing from people who played games at launch what that game meant to them and why they loved or hated it. Again, not dissing this game in any way. Just wondering why it blew up at launch....

I need someone to help me get Outbreak achievement and Chaos generator.

So i purchased L4D bundle a couple days ago and tried booting L4D 1. Steam says it starts up, but my monitor shuts down. Completely. No loading screen, no audio, just black then power off. Oddly enough too, i lose complete control of the whole system. I cant bring my cursor to the other monitor, i cant bring up Control Center to end the task, nothing. Does anyone have any idea why this is happening and how i can fix it?...
