It starts interesting enough and the graphics, even though old, still seem decent enough, but after the first chase sequence the game just seems bad, reusing very cheap assets.

Didn't hate the game. The core story is cool. No technical problems, it was well executed. Where it falls short is the actual gameplay. Gets a bit boring at times, no real challenge, just walking back and forth finding items to move forward. Doesn't mean it's bad because of that but too much walking without feeling nervous or whatever. I can only think of a couple of moments that actually scared me or made me "feel" in general. Otherwise it's more of an aesthetic that tells you "you should be scared". To give credit where it is due, I liked that there are no invisible walls, for the most part when you can't go somewhere, there's a reason. If an obstacle is short enough, you can jump over it and sometimes it actually matters. And again, as a story I enjoyed it. With all its flaws, for the duration and the price, especially on sale, go for it. It's fine, no regrets.
