I imagine if they were a larger company with plenty of permanent personnel, it'd make more sense to iron out discrepancies like these that, for most players, don't affect the experience much. As things stands, though, they're small enough (both the company and the discrepancies) that the work that'd go into it is probably better invested in creating more novel gameplay.
