Overhated as ♥♥♥♥, I personally didn't grow up with any RE games so I am not a "purist" but honestly it was a breath of fresh air after playing 0, 1, 2&2RE and OG 3. I didn't really care about the choices being cut, the game is short and action packed and I think it's for it's own benefit. It fleshes out the characters from the og RE3 a lot more and Nemesis felt way more terrifying(not harder from a gameplay perspective but he was just scarier), instead of annoying and hard for the sake of it unlike himself in the og RE3. I had more fun playing this than the original, 1 and 0 but both versions of the 2nd installment are still the best i've played so far.
