Is Eneba a reputable place to buy games? are they legal & legit?
I want to purchase Scum 1.0 from Eneba but am hesitant because of comments in an old locked Steam thread. I have used Eneba with multiple purchases of DLC'S for Dead By Daylight, 7 Days to Die, also the Borderlands Series but nothing over 5$ USD with no issues other than the cost being 105$ U.S.dollars less with Eneba. Anyone have a bad experience with them? as i see it company's like Eneba are MANDATORY! to keep the cost of games down with steam being the highest price anywhere with the appearance that they are a safe choice but I bought Bully last month for 25$ on Steam in may 2025. this is a SUPER OLD Rockstar game and it is unplayable. still is to this day, sold unplayable (on Steam) But what do you think about Eneba Vs Steam for purchases? has anyone had a personal UNSAFE experience with Eneba where they lost money or worse? :steamsalty::steamthis: Thank you in advance for your help and please only speak from experience as everyone has already heard the OPINIONS that its a GREY site, but has anyone had any personal issues from experience and if so what were they. Your answers are very much appreciated. best regards, Jasen Walsh

Use isthereanydeal.com to find out.
If that site isn't listed, then it shouldn't be trusted.

Also, the prices on those sites, the official sellers are selling keys obtained via special but legal methods that allows them to sell the key for cheap.

That's not special treatment for those who cannot afford games, it is limited availability for those cheap keys.

If the site is not listed on isthereanydeal.com, then it is a scam site that REsells keys.
Meaning that you are buying an already used key, an illegally obtained key, or getting an account with the game on it (and using an account you didn't create is against the Steam ToS).
I wouldn't trust a website that sounds like something someone puts into the butt.
I've made more than 10 purchases there. No issues at all. Nothing to say about it, except I recommend.

I've always picked the best sellers.

Scams sites wouldn't last very long if they scammed everyone every time they made a purchase. They succeed by making people believe they are trustworthy by being particular on when they do the scam, that way they have people like you able to send new marks their way.
Eneba is ok for games, but for software like Windows 11 Pro, only Microsoft partners like H-ypestkey.

I used them for PSN cards and never had problems with sellers.

You say that but G2A and Kinguin still exist despite ripping people off consistently for years. Hell, if people knew to avoid scams ♥♥♥♥ like CSGO skins and whatnot wouldn't be popular either. Fact is, there's an idiot born ever minute and ♥♥♥♥ sites will stay active to prey upon them.

G2A is a Dutch company and therefore has to abide by EU consumer laws, some of the most stringent in the world, they're not "ripping" anyone off.

They facilitate the sale of stolen game keys, they know their entire purpose is for that. Its the entire reason they sell buyer insurance. Because that ♥♥♥♥ has gotten so bad there literally the only way to even get customer support requires a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ fee before you buy anything. Don't know where you've been for the past decade but this has been widely known info for some time.

By that logic so do eBay.

Also, ,eBay doesn't just offer "buyer protection" they force it on you, you have to pay for it now, it's included in the final price.

So why aren't you coming at eBay with the same energy?

because the discussion isn't about ebay its about G2A and their sister site kinguin. Same reason we aren't bringing up Nestle and their child labor violations or hershey and their pmcs, like yeah its terrible but that's a different conversation.
No its not. It sells illegal keys occasionally..
