as a iranian user why cant i get out of Limited?
im iranian and in these rough times where one iranian currency (rial) is just a little bit more than a cent i cant spend money on anything,, and most of my friends are in steam but i cant either buy anything or even add them, i know this is for bot prevention but cant i prove something to be un-limited? like, living in the war is painful and i like gaming to make me not stress , but I literally CANT, and im not going to PIRATE THESE games, i like to support creators! atleast when its not 100 RIALS ! i need a fix

You don't have any other options. That said, it's 5$ (USD, that is) once. Exactly once in a lifetime and you don't even pay 5$ to unlimit your account, you pay 5$ for games and unlimit your account while you're at it.

Ask your friends on Steam how they've managed to unlimit their accounts.

The only way is to be a paying customer.

Though that is only a one time thing and the amount has to be $5 USD in its total amount.
After you do that, your account will be unlimited and will remain that way.

Having a limited account doesn't stop you from playing free-to-play games

It doesn't stop you from playing any games. Even as a limited account there is no restriction in game playing, you just don't have the full community features.

I don't think Iranians are permitted to have Steam accounts, anyway

Section 11 Steam Subscriber Agreement:
You agree to comply with all applicable import/export laws and regulations. You agree not to export the Content and Services or Hardware or allow use of your Account by individuals of any terrorist supporting countries to which encryption exports are at the time of exportation restricted by the U.S. Bureau of Export Administration. You represent and warrant that you are not located in, under the control of, or a national or resident of any such prohibited country.

You are literally a thousand times more likely to die. In an automobile accident then due to the bombing. The United States and Israel are surgical, and at this point are ridiculously competent.

The sanctions imposed decades ago have nothing to do with current events.

Re-read the original post, and re-read my response. Your post is a non-sequitur. They're trying to claim emotional distress. Due to their "living in the war". I don't know if they are being serious, or if they are just being facetious, but they're insinuating that they need games for their nerves, and my point is that doesn't make rational sense.
How does he talk on the forums without a full account? I thought social aspects were removed until you became a full account owner.

That said its not really Iranian peoples fault their government is crazy.. They are mostly normal people like us stuck in a bad place..

Gaming helps to forget reality for many people, you can just go into a game and forget the bad stuff is happening around you for a few hours..

Limited users are free to use the forums, they just have a MUCH lower limit on how many posts they can make each day.

Also, Iran has been under sanctions for 20+ years.
This is due to the many terrorist organizations that seem to come from there.
