That badge only counts the games you've actually purchased. Demos and free-to-play titles don’t bump up the number.

Purchased games that are "Profile Limited" also don't count towards the 'games owned' badge.

Why do i have a 25+ games owned badge when i own 100+ games?

There are many games that don't count towards the badge regardless if you "paid" for them or not.

1. Nearly all Free2Play games don't count. Unless you paid to make it a premium license. This is different than the free for a limited time games.
