new update for more detailed stats, go to settings, in-game then you will see show performance monitor, select where you want it shown then you cant change the colours but can change the contrast and opacity and what you want it to display, then turn off and set a hotkey.

you can set it to just show fps or even more like ram, gpu, frametime etc etc.

So if you want it like before just activate it, select fps an which corner, Just gives people more options and good for troubleshooting or just checking usage in a game.

my bad, you cant change the colour only the contrast and opacity etc, sorry.

I thought it was the nVidia update or something, or that my game was having a bug. My god this looks stupid! Why did they decide to change something that worked for like 10 years and not giving the option to turn it back on?

No it's possible turn constrast/saturation all the way to the left.

Just turn text contrast/saturation all the way to the left and it should be white again.

Actually a lot of people wanted full stats or control ability over more information visible, all they need to do is just add a text colour option and a digits only option and that should then keep everyone happy.
