Corrupted Downloads
I don't know what happened to my other topic on this. I can't find it now.

Prior to today I had 10 game that I couldn't update and would say either Corrupted Download or Content Server Unreachable. Today 1 more game has that issue. Yet 3 other games successfully updated.

After the latest Steam client update on July 30, when updating games, the message “download files are corrupted” appears. Perhaps the latest update has nothing to do with it, but I have never had problems downloading games before. But the game “Counter-Strike 2” has already updated twice without problems since then. I have Windows 7, and I know that some people with Windows 10 have the same problem.
:v
Valve has changed the compression they use for downloads, which breaks them for Windows 7 as it can't handle the new format. This isn't a retrospective change so any games that haven't had an update since the change work fine, anything updated after the change won't.

If I wrote that this game was able to update after this problem appeared, then it works as usual.
Only certain games have been effected so far. Saying that game X works has no bearing on game Y having issues. That leaves the question of what determines if a game will be effected.
Have you tried a steam config flush?

That's right.

claimed that all games that are updated after June 30 should not work. But he is wrong.

How long ago did you install the Steam client, in what year? I installed it several years ago. There is an assumption that if you reinstall the Steam client, this problem will disappear. But perhaps other problems will appear then. I have not yet decided to do this. If you decide to do this, please write about the results so that other people know whether it is worth doing.

The problem is widespread and mostly affects Windows 7 users. I doubt that the Steam client settings are causing this problem. I've already tried a lot of things, but nothing helps. And what do you mean by resetting Steam configurations?

Given your complete lack of info about your system you've left everybody guessing as to what may help you resolve your issue. But quite frankly you wanting to pretend that Steam ending support for Windows 7 means it's not going to cause problems when they update the client/how things are handled behind the scenes isn't going to make something untrue, however much you wish it was the case.
