5 days ago is not 7.

A full 7 days (168 hours) from when you enabled the mobile authenticator to have no holds.

Also, changing your password doesn't restrict your account but resetting it does.

Yeah it's just that steam says the issue is that I haven't used the authentificator for 7 days which is false (as I used it 5 days ago). I couldn't find anything about having to wait 7 days after using it for the first time beside a couple of random comments from people online, so I wanted to make sure that this is an actual rule

Mobile Authenticator Added

A Steam Guard Mobile Authenticator provides additional security for your account. Adding an authenticator does not immediately remove existing restrictions. Trades created within the first 7 days of adding the authenticator will still have up to a 15 day trade hold. This allows your items to still be protected and gives you time to recover your account if a malicious actor were to ever add an authenticator to your account.

If your account was already protected by Steam Guard via email, you will have no new restrictions that prevent you from using trading or the Community Market. Note: the 7 days of trade holds for adding a new authenticator still applies.

If your account was not protected by Steam Guard via email or mobile app, you will be restricted from using trading and the Community Market for 15 days because Steam Guard has been recently enabled.
