Need ‘Neutral’ Review Rating
Sometimes a game is just so average, you do not feel strongly one way or another about it overall and we need a neutral review rating to reflect this.

A work around is to not review it, however I would still like to say or point out things about a game for others, without the mandatory positive or negative review.

To only allow polarization is not a good idea, especially in times like these when the world in general is more polarized than it’s ever been.

Neutral = No

There's a big box to describe your opinions about the game. That's where you explain why you chose the recommendation that you did.

+1
The value of any individual review is derived entirely from the content of that review.
The value of the score aggregate derives from a large number of reviews. It honestly doesn't matter whether any individual review is "recommend" or "don't recommend".
I saw a screenshot on Reddit the other day of someone who wanted to give a 5-atar review, but because they hate the color yellow, and the stars were yellow, they marked it as 1-star.
Knowing the audience, 80%+ games and products then will have 'neutral' reviews literally on every review.
Devs and players won't reach any conclusion afterwards.
"Should I play the game you played?"

If your answer is "I don't have an answer to that", then you just don't have an answer to that. If you still feel a need to tell people you don't have an answer to the question they came to get an answer to, start a curator group.
Do you recommend the game?

"eh".

Not helpful.

No they don't need this. You either approve or disapprove. It would screw up the rating system lol.
You are asked a question - Do you recommend this game to other players? and the answer is either yes or no and in the text box you explain why.

Neutral is a shrug of the shoulders and defaults to no.

This is simply nonsense
The thing is Steam "reviews" aren't really "reviews".
They're more like recommendations or endorsements (hence their binary yes/no nature). An actual review wouldn't necessarily have to be binary.

But Steam decided to call them "reviews" so now we have people doing a thing believing they're doing another.
