post a cpuz validation link

Ryzen 5700x3D for about $250 is the only option that makes any sense in my opinion. Or a new build but that would cost much more.

if you want to upgrade the cpu, get a new board
the amd a boards are good for low end cpus, and often with weak vrm config that will choke any mid+ cpu that needs more than 80w to hold turbo/boost clocks

with that board, keep the stock cooler on the cpu, to cool the boards vrm mosfets
I’d concur with C1REX, if you are only wanting to upgrade the CPU and nothing else, the only thing on AM4 that would make any sense would be the 5700X3D
I'd say don't right now... kinda a bad time.
cpu upgrade thats easy. microcenter free bin.

Intel i5 12600K. Mobo + CPU should run you about $300-$350. Make sure your RAM is compatible, though it looks like it should be. Also you'll need a CPU fan/cooler.

If you don't want to replace the board, then

Because it is so attractively priced, a Ryzen 7 5800X “Vermeer” would be worth considering. Or the already mentioned 5700x3d, which is significantly more expensive. If necessary, update the UEFI/BIOS before replacing the CPU.
Okay thanks for responses, will upgrade mobo eventually. I'd thought about that, but i'll go with a 5700x3d for now. Thanks :SonicHedgehog:
