Incredibly low CPU benchmarks
So i decided to to a cinebench benchmark test on my hardware. I have a AM4 set up with a 5700x3d and a 4080 super.

Nothing ever over heats or is constantly running at over usage.

I play cyberpunk on max settings and ray tracing no problem.

I dont have any issues with my computer and it doesnt run slowly.

My test results.

GPU 23831 pts
CPU multi core 726 pts
CPU single core 80pts
MP ratio 9.04 x
Why are my cpu benchmarks so low it looks like they are failing?

how about complete specs?

post a cpuz validation link
http://www.cpuid.com/softwares/cpu-z.html
cpuz -> validate button -> submit button
it will open a browser, copy the url (address) and paste it here

also power supply brand/model/age and cpu cooler?

in a poor mobo, or slow ram the cpu will never reach its full potential performance

DeepCool AK620 Zero Dark
CORSAIR RM1000x Fully Modular ATX Power supply

build is around a year old

board looks fine for the cpu
8+2 with heatsinks can give the cpu cores ~200w, more than it should need

xmp/docp looks to be enabled

1440p displays will get lower fps than 1080p displays

compare bench results at the same res,
that has a huge difference when gpu bottlenecked (if gpu at 90+% load)
or if vsync is enabled, it will cap it at the displays refresh rate

Two high speed monitors can change results for stuff. Not a lot but I came across this as a solution for something a while back.
I heard if you enable x3d mode or gaming mode if you will get that problem
I don't use Cinebenchmark, but is that not around normal score?
have you updated the bios?
I've had performance issues with my Asus ROG B550E back when i upgraded from 3700X to 5800X3D but a bios update solved the problem
Using ancient operating system kernel? Those things have no idea how to utilize hardware newer than them.

For the record : Ryzen7 5700x - PBO enabled
CL14 RAM

My results with cinebench 23

multi - 15100
single - 1550

What are your results with 2024?

id say its the app not your system ..especially a 3d type benchmark, the way i look at them is they test all your hardware to come up with a system average .. most of the results for anything other than gpu mean nothing lol .. the benchmark isnt telling you how your cpu is performing, its just giving it a quick shakedown with whatever standard its focused on to give your total system a score .. the 'only' score thats translatable to game performance is the gpu score at whatever resolution ..
i appreciate all the feedback!
Heat throttle?

which cinebench? As a comparison my 7700x on Cinebench R23 scores about 20000 multi core.
Are you sure it's Cinebench you're using? as it's a cpu test only.
