So, I watched 'Ironheart'...
I'd seen a lot of negative reviews of 'Agatha All Along'. But I decided to give it a chance. And liked it. So, I thought I'd do the same with 'Ironheart'. Not quite the same.

"Agatha" has a complex moral code. Which is difficult to understand. And might be (fairly) interpreted as "evil". "Ironheart" is just... evil. All she cares about is herself.

But I'm getting ahead of myself. I think the best way to discuss/review is to go character-by-character.

Stane Solo
- He is the only significant white male in the story. And, and you would expect, he's a punching bag. Disney requires that every (side) character be written in a way that they could be completely cut out. And that's exactly how he feels. You could have cut all his scenes, and the story would remain unchanged.

Slug
No one really cares about this character. Let's be honest. But it was a super-fat white dude in the comics. Casting a non-binary, ultra-thin black dude is ridiculous. I'd evaluate their acting ability, but they are in the show for about 5 minutes.

Blood Brothers
Oh, I'm sorry "Blood Siblings". Because that makes sense. Disney spends MILLIONS on these shows. They couldn't afford red makeup?

The Clown
I suppose it was kinda accurate. But the character was tragically underused.

The Hood
The race-swap was unneeded. His lust for power is not from "daddy issues". It's more of an inferiority complex. It wasn't a horrible representation, but it wasn't good.

Riri Williams
Firstly, a legacy character is always going to make people angry. It doesn't matter how you spin it. People will always want the original. They liked the original for a reason. Inventing a replacement is something everyone sees as a replacement.

Secondly, she's unlikable. She spends the entire show working for an obviously evil criminal organization. Then ends with making a deal with an obviously evil entity.

The show is written as if I'm supposed to identify or relate to her. No way. If this character sat down next to me at a bar? I'd just get up and leave after a few minutes.

Disney seems to love hiring talentless actors to fill roles. 'Ironheart' is a great example. None of these people should be cast in anything ever again.

This seems highly contradicting because the following reason given is typically why people don't like undeserved pass-downs;

That's a huge reason why fans wouldn't like undeserved title pass-downs.

Those are some of the reasons to greatly dislike/hate this endless behavior some companies have which try to force people to like new characters they don't want, can't relate to, and find as insufferable characters. :DukeExplosion:
I don't relate to a person, no matter how smart they make that person be, that cheats, steals and partners up with criminals just to make money to build the suit.

Tony did it IN A CAVE.

This was doomed to fail because Riri is another horrendous character everyone was obviously going to hate. I wouldn't put much faith in S2 because this is most likely going straight to the dumpster fire next to she hulk and acolyte, other garbage shows cancelled after S1.
I watched like 20 mins of the first episode and quit. Not that I’m against DEI, but they were VERY pushy with this one. The whole first part of the episode was pretty much trying to include as much BLM as possible (and when that guy walked into the room and said “Hey black people”, that was it for me).
I’m all for supporting BLM, but pushing it so hard into media like that is kinda annoying.

I know if I casually developed a portable A.I. my only choice would be to team up with a group of criminals so I could burn, loot, and murder to get the thousands of dollars I need to buy used car parts to fix up my stolen cyber-suit; instead of just selling that A.I. to any number of tech companies for billions of dollars. It's a no-brainer.

Unwatchable woke.
I made a search about what this was and the only thing that popped up was this.

...with a pile of scraps.

And it definitely showed. His original suit was janky and hobbled together.

Riri destroys her suit. Rebuilds it. Then gets it destroyed again.

Finally rebuilding her suit from scratch... with car parts... in a few days.

There is a zero percent chance you could build an Ironman suit from 1970's car parts. (You might be able to repurpose the wiring and get some use out of the metal. But not an advanced computer and jets to enable flight.)

Also... why take the time to paint the suit? It's clearly got gloss and clear coat.

That was only his review of the first 3 episodes. Chances are he'll give a review of the rest. (Possibly on his second channel.)
