That's a huge reason why fans wouldn't like undeserved title pass-downs.
Those are some of the reasons to greatly dislike/hate this endless behavior some companies have which try to force people to like new characters they don't want, can't relate to, and find as insufferable characters.

And it definitely showed. His original suit was janky and hobbled together.
Riri destroys her suit. Rebuilds it. Then gets it destroyed again.
Finally rebuilding her suit from scratch... with car parts... in a few days.
There is a zero percent chance you could build an Ironman suit from 1970's car parts. (You might be able to repurpose the wiring and get some use out of the metal. But not an advanced computer and jets to enable flight.)
Also... why take the time to paint the suit? It's clearly got gloss and clear coat.
