Movies with a Dominant Woman
I recently watched Fair Play on Netflix and found myself enjoying the unusualness of the woman being the more dominant one in the relationship and workplace.

Was just wondering if you had any recommendations of movies like that are similar.

Kill Bill.
Corvus XIII 22. aug. kl. 9:44
Terminator 2 - she is very dominant in the mental hospital which is a workplace for many people.

Red Sonja - she is very dominant in the relationships she has because of a big sword
Alien + Aliens - she just dominates.
Tank Girl! - she has a tank
Heavy Metal 2000 - er shes quite angry.

In the workplace?
The Associate
Whoopi Goldberg transforms herself into a white guy .

Miss Congeniality
FBI goes undercover into beauty contest.

Anchorman for a comedy recommendation
I feel like alot of this gender competition, talk about 'roles', claiming women were put in the kitchen, could come from a place of actually feeling that one is inferior as a woman. And might need some sort of recognition in ways like this. But really if the history of warfare and martial arts was understood, this would probably vanish. Read about Fang Qiniang. She was a Shaolin monk that created one of the five styles. She walked through an army of armed Manchurian soldiers with four other people like it was nothing. Or Samurai Tomoe Gozen who was tearing through leagues of warlords as a teenage girl.

I did see the thumbnail for Tank Girl on Prime, it looks very interesting. Thanks for the recommendation.

Wing Chun was also invented by a woman.

I haven't heard of Fang Qiniang, which style of Kung Fu did she invent?

Hmm, also these kind of count:

-Cloud Atlas (multiple antagonists & protagonists but Halle Berry is definitely one of the leading protagonists that drives the story)
-Alice in Wonderland & sequel, Looking Glass

I am very tired today so my memory recall isn't great rn but those are my other recommendations for now.

She is the one they mean when they say a woman invented wing chun. She invented white crane. Wing Chun is kindof a spinoff of white crane. Its crane, snake, and usually other styles mixed. Wing Chun was actually invented by a guy named Wing Chun. Fang defeated Wing Chun over and over again too teach him that crane is far superior to snake style. So he asked her to teach him crane style. New Shaolin and movies are like a decoration to the original monks. Every move was meant to kill back then and noone could touch them.

Hidden Figures if you want a historical fiction movie
Atlas Shrugged 1-3.
Mononoke-Hime.
Mary Poppins.
Fire Over England and The Sea Hawk (Flora Robson as Elisabeth I is probably the #1 girlboss of all time).
Pretty much anything Kate Blanchett or Judi Dench is in.
Any of the Ghost in the Shell continuities.
The Rose of Versailles.

You would enjoy The Immortal Life of Henrietta Lacks starring Oprah Winfrey.
