Wing Chun was also invented by a woman.

-Cloud Atlas (multiple antagonists & protagonists but Halle Berry is definitely one of the leading protagonists that drives the story)
-Alice in Wonderland & sequel, Looking Glass
I am very tired today so my memory recall isn't great rn but those are my other recommendations for now.
She is the one they mean when they say a woman invented wing chun. She invented white crane. Wing Chun is kindof a spinoff of white crane. Its crane, snake, and usually other styles mixed. Wing Chun was actually invented by a guy named Wing Chun. Fang defeated Wing Chun over and over again too teach him that crane is far superior to snake style. So he asked her to teach him crane style. New Shaolin and movies are like a decoration to the original monks. Every move was meant to kill back then and noone could touch them.
