Rust don't use VAC. And EAC (that Rust use) is not accepting "I was hacked" excuse.

1 game ban on record | Info <--- Does that say VAC ban? No...
34 day(s) since last ban

Your GAME ban has nothing to do with VAC or this forum.

Steam helping you recover your account is not proof of anything, not even Valve considers that "proof". All Valve can see is a different IP signed into your account, they have no way to verify it was not you.

People used to fake accounts getting "hacked" all the time back when Valve return lost items and removed VAC bans.... Why do you think they stopped...

The use and security of your Steam account are your responsibility.

You will find that most anti cheats have the same policy. Including but not limited to EAC, VAC (Valve's), BattlEye, Ricochet... etc.

The only ones that can remove your ban is Easy Anti-cheat, but they won't and will link you to their policy.

You got a computer for Christmas yet you have a 2 year old account?

Sounds fishy

unfortunately you have game ban and not a vacban. also seeing as the ban is already then a month old, it will not be removed.

because someone else was on my account wouldn't eac ban the account and the ip of were the hacker is. so does that mean i can hop on a different account and buy rust or no. what happens? because i don't want to hop on different account and waste another 60 bucks

EAC performs HWID bans. Every PC this account used is banned for Rust. Using a new account on the same system for Rust will ban the new account as well.

Does that mean I’ll never be able to play rust again

Your account didn't get hacked, you were just sloppy with your login info which allowed someone else access to your account.
in the end you are responsible for your account, the magical "But I got hacked!" excuse has never worked.
