These gacha games 'never' truly 'flop' because they prey on addictive design patterns that are legal cuz of loopholes.

Sadly, following up from my comment from before, it does look to be a gacha game as it shows what looks to be a premium gem currency alongside the in-game money, a ranking system, and what most people do not like, a stamina system to stop extended playtime. And the story looks to be split into chapters of extended periods like chapter 1-7 and 2-8 *meaning chapter 1 part 7, and chapter 2 part 8 respectively* like most mobile story-related games, and it just sorta upsets me since the cutscenes look really really good but its overshadowed by how greedy it may end up being. Still, we'll see how it fares once its in peoples hands, and if it flops, it could be a wake-up call for Koei Tecmo.

To follow up my previous comment on the newest atelier game, this "game" (its stated like that in case it does end up being a gacha cash grab), is NOT being developed by its original group "Gust", but by another group called "Akatsuki Games", I am unsure what their previous works have been but we can consider it like this. On one hand, this gives Gust a much needed break from their work series since it always seemed to push 1-2 atelier games a year, on the other hand, Koei Tecmo could just be falling for greed so are exploring the mobile markets OR using Akatsuki Games as a cheaper alternative to Gust.
