Compared to most, I'm a relative noob to Call of Duty. Discovered it through Ghosts Extinction with Advanced Warfare being the first competitive MP I played ever really. Only FPS I'd played before was back to the days of solo Unreal, Quake, Doom, etc. Also a fan of Titanfall, Portal, and TrackMania racing.

Although I don't often accept friend requests anymore, I'll always be in the TM8 Chat Rooms anytime I'm looking to play. The friends do network with tend to be other Steam Community and technology developers with a shared interest in improving PC gaming and overall morale.
