valvebiped's right thigh rotates itself to the right in-engine
title. i have no idea what causes this or if it applies to other skeletons so i can't give a whole lot of info, but it's very irritating as it ruins animations. the .smd export is totally fine, but in-engine (hlmv, ingame) most models have the right thigh rotated pretty far to the right. what can i do about this? video[cdn.discordapp.com]

thanks, but it didn't seem to make a difference
EDIT: i actually moved it on the wrong leg because i'm a goof, i'll try again properly

wanna bump this with a proper solution after all these years
i experimented with custom animations again when i noticed that animations appear properly on certain characters' LOD models, but didn't work correctly on their regular models. i tried using a half-life 2 civilian's LOD model (specifically LOD 2) and sure enough, when animating with this specific model, animations work properly on all models whether or not they were appearing incorrectly before. so 90% of the skeletons in half-life 2 are just fucked i guess
