So I know a good amount of you have noticed I've yet to get the server up. The mods currently listed are all working well and such, but I will be honest when I say I was expecting the next update to have happened by now.

Anyways, I looked recently, and it seems CF is skipping 1-2 updates and going straight to 1.0 which may or may not be a good choice. To me, it seems they're rushing it now v..v

Back on topic, the server will be delayed until the next big patch which appears to be Release 1.0 now. I'll keep watch on the mods we'll be using, since I know I won't be able to play the game without mods and making sure they remain up to date with the updates to the game.

Remember folks, you can still suggest mods for use here in the discussions of the Valengrad group.

So I'll soon be hosting a Starbound server for the group. I'm looking into possibly renting host servers currently and such, but until then would like some input.

I'm aware not all of you play it, but for those that do and are interested, I'll be hosting a non-vanilla modded multiplayer server. The server will feature races to new objects and eventually new dungeons/challenge rooms.

• For race mods, I am willing to try to rig up older race mods to work on the current version of the game. Keep in mind, however, that depending on the age of said mods, they may not have the tiered ships and will instead use the tiered ships of the vanilla that matches them as much as possible.
  
• To play as additional races, you must use a race extension mod that allows more races to be choosen. There are many of them out there, choose the one you want. While it's not needed to play normally, it will be needed if you wish to make a character of the above races.

Hello Everyone,

It is that time of year again where the realm gets a little spookier, whether your plans are to hand out candy, go get drunk at a party or play a creepy video game in the dark. Regardless how you celebrate I hope you will all be able to attend Castle Valengrads RP event on the 30th!

The theme for the event will be that some strange things are happening about the castle and the group will have investigate and discover why.

The event is scheduled for the 30th and will be 10PM to 3AM EDT. The end time is suggestive and a guess at best as we may end a little earlier.

If for some reason you can't make the event then you are welcome to help the admins and moderators plan the event and be a part of the event in other ways. We will of course give you full credit to any ideas you bring in.

I think that's about it, group members are encouraged to bring their friends who enjoy RP and can follow Valengrads rules. We are not looking elitist's or toxic roleplayers who put others down.

One last final note, planning events like this is difficult so please feel free to suggest ideas to me privately and I will definitely take them into consideration.

Voting has now ended, thanks for taking the time to cast your vote and it seems majority wnats Fantasy - Medieval. While this will be our active theme, if the group grows large or becomes more active we can incorporate other themes into the mix.

We can now move onto the next step.

So I have given this a lot of thought but I would like to revive this group. I would like it to return to a free form social RP with some scheduled heavier rps on certain weekends of the month.

New rules would be now you can't yiff in this group and everyone including myself will obey. Affection such as hugs, cuddles or even licks can still be done as long as it is kept in an appropriate region.

Ultimately, this will take some work and debate and if there is anyone who would like to see the old RP return to this group then they can let me know.

Castle Valengrad was once a home for many, I think we had fun and I was not the most active and I apologize but it was you the people who made it great.

Even those who I had a falling out with are welcome to re-join if they are interested.

I will re-state this is not a sex group, it is a relaxed SFW RP zone for those of us who enjoy the art of RP and want to develop their character in a safe environment.

Share your thoughts, feelings and opinions and if you want a sex group there is always my lair group chat.
