The ERROR states there is an extra or misplaced closing brace on line 22 or a missing opening brace earlier in the QC file.

Perhaps the mesh has too many triangles or vertices.

If the SDK is installed where Crowbar is looking for it, then I am not sure what the problem is. Everything you have shown looks correct.

This problem usually occurs if the game's SDK has not been installed. (I intend to have Crowbar tell the user this at some point.)

For CSGO, go to your Steam Library window. Click on Library menu, then click Tools. Install "Counter-Strike: Global Offensive - SDK".

Back in Crowbar, go to Compile tab. Click the "Set Up Games" button. Select Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Use the Browse buttons to make sure the file locations are set correctly.

Or, use Crowbar's View tab.

Use the View tab in Crowbar to check the number of materials.

It was not intentional. What is the error you are seeing and when are you seeing it? I can try to get Crowbar to work again on WinXP.

I have had various people over the past two years give similar descriptions as yours, but every time I test the links they work just fine.

I use Firefox and test via Private Window. I always get the full 7z file and I use 7-Zip to unpack it.
