some of these old good maps don't work properly...maybe there is someone out there who can get them working again with the newer version of HL2CTF?

The dev team has source to a lot of maps that were not released with the mod. The problem right now is getting the mod fully functional under the 2013 SDK. At which point we can compile all of the maps for the 2013 SDK along with many of the other maps. I believe that EntEdit can be used to make old maps (such as those we do not have the source to) work.
