Yeah I discovered the game a few days ago and I was very disappointed that there were few servers and absolutely no players on them. :(

Same here, I started playing since last December, the time when the population of the game was dropping down.

So how does this get on greenlight. I'd vote for it, as would everyone else in this group even though they don't play.

Well the creators of the mod have to put the game on steam green light. But for technical game support if your game gets in steam green light such as updates are nessisary, i belive theres a $100 fee for that, which you can buy on steam. However, with the game being a ghost town for a long time, i dont think the creators would come back to it being so unpopular now. I guess we will just have to stick to HL2 Death Match.

Well if you guys are really still into this game, i think we can get some one to host a server every saturday night or somthing like that + gather some people who are willing to play it and we will be all set to play.

This game needs to go on greenlight, i just got the game and it feels so empty, i want to have fun with it, not just sit there and do nothing!

The truth is that the mod needs to be ported to the Orange Box SDK. The team tried very hard to get that going two or three times but with all the issues the time was better spent completing the mod. We do though have the entire mod's feature documented in great detail (thanks to Pulled Pin) so the goal this year, with the mod completed, is to see who we can get onboard to rebuild the mod from scratch under the Orange Box. Odds would be so much higher if the mod was on the Orange Box with the achievement system etc. etc.
