if they had roles then they had permission management for the roles, that means they probably wanted to make sure the server doesn't get raided. it's kind of obvious that there would be a lot more announcements if they didn't stop people from doing it.

the announcement could have been made back when the group barely had 10 people, which is why there aren't many announcements.
