26. Delete "Play on Steam Group Server" from all co-op modes' submenu (Campaign, Survival, Realism and Mutations) but keep it for Multiplayer modes (Versus, Scavenge, Versus Realism).

27. When you create a lobby and you choose a Custom campaign/map it should automatically change server setting to "Local server" in the lobby. When you choose an Official campaign in the lobby it should automatically change server setting to "Official Dedicated" in the lobby.

Adding lobby improvements as well here we go:

23. Voice chat in lobby is broken (and has been for quite some time). The voice chat icon does appear when someone uses their microphone however you can't hear anything. Either fix it or delete voice chat in lobby because some people seem to be talking to themselves (without knowing that no one else can hear them). If it was deleted the "Mute" option when you click someone's name in a lobby would also have to be deleted.

25. If you are the lobby leader: You should be able to click another person's name in the lobby and then promote him/her to become the new lobby leader (so the new lobby leader becomes the host of the server when selecting local server etc.).
Right now if you don't want to be the lobby leader (host) you need to leave the lobby.

21. Spectating free look should be enabled by default and then removed from multiplayer options so people can't disable it.

22. When you join a Steam group which has L4D2 servers those servers appear in a list in the main menu. The problem is that other servers appear in that list even though you have not joined those other Steam groups.

I'm just saying it's not fun if people can cheat with unlimited ammo etc. using server plugins etc. on my map to get a survival record (time), it's unfair to those who play without such cheats. It just removes the challenge, it's like using a hack (or using third person view console command which still seems to work even when sv_cheats is set to 0).

If players can't connect due to consistency error etc. then they will contact the map author and not the server owner. A lot of people who host don't know that "external scripts" can cause problems. When you have a script which changes the amount of ammo etc. and someone can't join the server due to consistency error the host doesnt know about this because there is no alert message appearing for the host saying that "player couldn't join due to the server using xxxxxxxx file script, please uninstall the xxxxxxxx file script so that players may join the server".

I want to be able to add a command in my missions.txt file (some sort of option) in my vpk which blocks/disables server plugins and other "external scripts" in vscripts folder etc. (that are not included in the same vpk as my map) from being run on my map, because I don't want people to be able to cheat this way.

Example: In L4D1 you could easily cheat just by starting a local server and writing sv_cheats 1 etc. in console, you could play with other players and just cheat. Now can still do this and other similar cheating in L4D2 if you have "external scripts". In addition when people make scripts that for instance change how much ammo you can carry: this is also a cheat and gives consistency error (for people who join your server that dont have that particular script). I simply want to block all "external scripts" that are not included in the same vpk as my custom map when you play my custom map.

1. "Views and raitings over time" - "Daily item action data" is now deleting the first month's stats for my item in the Steam Workshop. When I click Lifetime stats I can't find the first month's stats, the Lifetime stats only shows stats over 1 year period and anything older gets deleted. What I did now was that I changed the maximum amount of characters that is displayed for each name to 10 characters so names don't take up too much space on screen and overlap with the survival timer that much on lower resolutions.
There are two chat commands (enable/disable commands) however when someone disables the custom HUD it will disable it for everyone and not just for the player who wrote the command in the chat.
Haven't tested this on a Dedicated Server yet but on my Local Server it worked fine for all the people who helped me test it. I guess this is as good as it gets, very excited to release this as it makes survival mode more interesting to play.

And also the size of the text becomes too big at lower resolutions.

I've been having lots of fun with a new kill counter which displays kills on the HUD. The script was made by The Fish with support from Rectus.

When you change resolution problems start to emerge. Using the setting 1680x1050 it becomes perfect, well it should be placed a little bit more to the left on the screen but it seems it can't go more to the left. And with lower values such as 720x480 and 640x480 it just looks broken, it cuts off some of the text. Is there a way to fix this?

18. Number 18 has been fixed!
A friend contacted me about a message box causing his main menu to completely freeze, only way to exit the game was to do "ctrl + alt + del".
I told him to take a screenshot, you can view it here:

The message box appeared behind the main menu and said: "Left 4 Dead 2 would like to associate with files using the .vpk extension" and then you get a "Yes" or "No" option. He couldn't click anything at all, the message box just froze the entire main menu.
He only had Helm's Deep Reborn installed so I was worried that my vpk was causing the problem. I told him to reinstall Steam and L4D2 which he did, but after that the message still appeared however after reinstalling everything he was finally able to click "Yes" and the main menu worked after that. Any clue what was causing this, or could you please make so it automatically selects "Yes" so people don't have to manually click.

19. I noticed some old information regarding the main menu in the readme.txt file located in the left4dead2/addons folder:
In the readme.txt it says: "View and manage add-ons from the main menu: Extras->Add-ons."
This is old information because when you click "Extras" in the main menu only "Developer commentary" and "Credits" appears. "Addons" was moved out from the submenu of "Extras".

20. Could you please add an option in Multiplayer options to enable/disable the intro videos? (The videos which play before the main menu appears everytime you start the game). All that time needed for the videos to play could have been used to load addons/vpks from the Steam Workshop instead :)
