If we add a limit to the number of tags (kinda like l4dmaps has) we could stop the tagging abuse.

I've been having trouble checking the workshop. I can see my files, but every time I try to check the Left 4 Dead 2 Beta -> Workshop, I get redirected to the official Steam Workshop page. This happens both in-game and through the steam client. Rayman's having the same problem.

I was wondering whether non-vpk file types will be able to be uploaded to the workshop in the future. The first type that comes to my mind is .nut files, i'm sure there are others as well. Squirrel vscripts can be used by other mappers in their campaigns to make them more dynamic, while other players can also download them to put into existing maps. If it's a one or more .nut files, there's no point in putting them into a .vpk, as they'll be converted anyway after being put into campaign folders.

I was talking about the workshop ones.

In my opinion, I think that gameplay thumbnails look bad and will attract less people. I was wondering if there was a way to make thumbnails similar to the official ones you can see on the wiki (http://left4dead.wikia.com/wiki/Mutations ; bottom of page). Is there an editor, or are there other ways to make proper thumbnails?

I think there should be the option to crop or resize thumbnails for addons in the "Publish new addon" window.

I was thinking about the mutation mods, such as Rayman1103's, which contains a menu for all custom mutations and includes them. They're convenient and great, but my problem with them is that all the downloads/ratings go to the creator of the menu, not the creators of the various mutations. I propose that they contain only the menu creator's mutations as well as Valve's, but all mutations are compatable with them. That way, people download someone's mutation, and then add it to the menu. Each different mutation gets its own ratings and the purpose of the mutation mods stil works.
