I noticed that the workshop categories are better labeled now. There are still a lot of mislabeled stuff, but it should be more clear where things belong. Good job.

It's easily reproducable by giving the addon a different file or directory name as the one on the server. The only effective workaround is to disable sv_consistency server side.

For your idea, the filenames would have to be consistent as well, and that might cause issues if the orignal filenames are used, and multiple addons have the same name.

I have a suggestion regarding workshop tags. Currently it's very hard to filter out specific types of addons, especially campaigns. You get all kinds of random addons tagged with the Campaign tag. This could be improved by setting up exclusive categories for different kinds of addons, like: Campaigns, Characters, Items, Sounds, Mutations and Miscellaneous.

Oh, that's what causes it. I got the same thing when I applied impulses in the AllowBash hook without filtering for players.

It's not a global function, and only exsists in the modescript scope. Calling it with g_ModeScript.CreateSingleSimpleEntityFromTable() works.

I'm not sure about it, but it might not spawn new survivors if people join in the middle of a round, or handle them right if they disconnect.

I don't think there is any way to respawn dead survivors either, except through rescue closets.

There are server side mods that allow 8 or more survivors, but it doesn't seem possible to currently influence this with EMS. You probably could write the mutation to handle any number of survivors, and leave it to server admins to choose if they want to add additional survivors through mods.

You would need to track which survivors are on what team. A spawn room or similar where players can pick a team could work in getting the data to the vscript.

Bots wouldn't work very well, so you'd need to find a way to disable them. You'd also need to find some way of showing which teams the players are on, maybe by changing the colors of the names/auras, if that is possible.

The loot system could be set up similar to the holdout resource system, there is even a nice orange backpack prop.

If you can't get teams working you could set it up like versus, with survivors playing against an infected team.

I guess I'll add this one when EMS gets released then.

I noticed a bug in the guide categories. When you select the Mutations category in tag search, it also selects Game modes: Mutations, and you get a lot of irrelevant guides. Looks like it considers both categories as a single one.

I broke out the randomized item and weapon spawning script I made for Gun Hunt into a separate script, so that it can be incorporated into other mutations easily. Feel free to use it.

The script gives you the ability to randomly spawn items at preset spawnpoints at any time you choose. It's a bit like the weapon spawning in Killing Floor, or Battlefield 3 Scavenger.

You can give it a custom array of items, and set the spawn probabilities and ammo of each individual item or weapon type. It returns handles to (most) of the spawned entites, so you can keep track of them. It also has the option to display a fireworks paricle effect where items spawn.
