Medieval Total War 2 Pike & Shot mods MP group

Welcome,

This group was created with the intention for players who play medieval 2 total war mods set in the early modern era (e.g Italian wars, 1648, English civil war,etc mods) to be able to find others who play and to begin a small community of players online for these mods.

The words Pike & Shot meaning a historical infantry combat formation that evolved during the Italian Wars before the late seventeenth century evolution of the bayonet. The infantry formations of the period were a mix of pike and early firearms ("shot"), either arquebusiers or musketeers. Is a fun unquie style of warfare that many players enjoy.

A list of rules that will give players a balanced game can be found below: (Will be completed when we have tested to find which units are most OP and which units are OP when spammed e.g Dragoons or Mounted Infantry with guns in pretty much all Pike & Shot like mods.

If you need any help in installing one of these mods please add either Danny or Georgy Vasilykos Lupas in which Vasikle works on a MTW2 mod himself which you can find below. Also linked are the 2 main mods we play on this group.
