-----------------0SS-------------------- After officialy entering the war with the attack of Pearl Harbor, which happened due to the lack of intelligence, The unprepared USA needed to catch up with The Ongoing War in Europe and plus needed to fix their insufficient Intelligence problem. For that, William J. Donavan purposed 2 different projects to solve this issue. Project OSS and SOG. Without thinking twice, Franklin Roosevelt approved and supported the projects. After its establishment OSS was later authorized to establish a Special Unit for SpecOps. Hand-picking talented and distinguished soldiers from 51st Battalion which played crucial part in North Africa campagin against Germans, The OSS later created a Top-Class Unit trained with Advanced Commando Style Tutelage and imrpoved with Unique Equipments. For the duration of 1942, 1st Special Reconnaissance Detachment performed multiple succesfull Undercover Missions therefore, seeing the performance and impressed by its following successes in such a short time, William J. Donovan, the founder of The OSS decided that a unit with such accomplishments should not be wasted and must be further improved. With the support and approval of Presisent Franklin Roosevelt, on 17 March 1943 1st Special Reconnaissance Detachment was reformed as 1st Special Operations Group, S.O.G., expandings its Operation Fields, Resources and becoming The OSS' Permanent Task Force.
