Give Advice to the User Above You
What you see is what you get-- rate the poster that the user above you posted, give advice on how to improve it, and post your own poster for the next user to rate.

I'll start. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=811954842

Could use work. The artstyles from the character to prop models seem to clash with each other, the lighting seems pretty bland resulting in the characters not popping. Also think the person in the foreground should be on higher ground to use balancing elements. Have something lead the eyes to and from the foreground and background.

Alright, I'll keep that in mind. Was there anything I did right?

Also, don't forget to put up a poster for the next person to rate.

You clearly got the concept of describing the personality with poses which is good. I don't have any new work to post here though.

Since I don't want this thread to die, I'll put up another piece of artwork. https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=794556949

the description says "It's rude to talk about those who are listening", maybe have a silhouette of people talking or laughing in the background to show people talking behind her back?

Well I just started SFM so I'm no expert myself, but it doesn't seem like anyone has posted in a month anyways so might as well give it a shot.

I don't know if you've heard of the rule of thirds yet or not, but your poster could probably benefit from that. You should move the spy to the left and angle him so he isn't dead center in the camera. Dunno why, but putting something on a third will put more focus on something than dead center ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

The lighting seems a bit inconsistent (the spy's lit from the (back?) and the pyro is lit from above. Also, the spy and pyro don't really "pop out" from the background. You can probably somewhat fix them both these issues with 3 point lighting, if you aren't already using it.

A little bit of aperture blur could make the field look larger and bring more focus onto the Eevee. The lighting looks really good, but the giant amount of brownish/yellow causes your eyes to wander rather than focus on the Eevee.
