TF2 Workshop items in SFM
Hey there, this kinda longwinded so bear with me

The summarised version: Can using TF2 workshop items jeopardise their chances of getting accepted by Valve?

So I'm working on SFM short at the moment, which is currently still in pre-production. The reason it's still there is because I want to use items from the TF2 workshop, and I need to ask for permission (and get the files) from the creators of said items. Also my computer I animate with is broken and needs to be repaired before I can do anything (aren't hardware faults fun!).

Now I'm not sure if a topic like this has come up (if it has I apologize), but does anyone know if using an item (weapon, hat, cosmetic, etc...) from the workshop (with the creators express consent) in SFM, could harm it's chances from getting accepted and put into Team Fortress 2?

The reason I ask this is because I don't want to ask these guys for their items and find Valve turns around and says: "Sorry we can't accept this". I have no reason/idea why Valve would say this, but it's best to ask anyway.

By the way: this question is open to any workshop

Highly doubtful Valve would turn it down. If anything, extra publicity may entice more people to want the item more, perhaps even increasing its chances of getting in the game because Valve loves its money. :D
