making particles slow motion
I'm working on a project which has a large amount of slowmo animation in it and I'd like to have some slow motion explosions. I've never really had reason To use the particle system so I'm finding it a little difficult Figuring out how to control the speed and duration of the particles, I'd appreciate it if anyone can help me with this. Thanks

Don't take my word on this, but I believe when you "Create animationset for new particle," in the animationset editor, it gives you a small window. You click browse, to find the explosion particle, then choose the particle system bla blah. After you choose your particle system, there's two boxes. "Particle system duration," and "Particle system lifetime." Set both of those to how long you want them.

Right click the animation set for the particle system and click Edit Particle System Start/Stop/End Times. There you can change the timescale to whatever works best for you.
